hasselblad first studio shots

All these were shot on my Hasselblad 500 c/m with a mix of Fuji Instant Film FP-100C Colour gloss, ilford delta 100 and 400 plus kodak ektar 100 colour film.
With the model Elaine Ford and make up by Judit Soltesz.

Americana I caught this one whilst setting up a test shot I only got a polaroid of this but I thought it worked really well.

One of the fun things about shooting on film is the 2.30 min you have to wait for the polaroid to develop so while I was waiting we shot a few digital pics which are the ones below. its really funny because i really like these pics but its the soul that's missing I know that sounds really strange but I think there is something missing and that thing i've only ever found in film.

hasselblad 500 c/m

I forgot how much i love film! Here is the first few shots that ive properly taken with the hassy, with an 80mm 2.8 lens and a bit of tape stuck in the film back hence the black lines where the titles are! - love black bags to fix that! I did a little bit of post work in photoshop just sorting out the levels a bit but thats it oh and the shot of my canon 7d was taken with a strobe at a shutter speed of 500 as ive never used a flash at 500 before and i wanted to see what it would look like!

Hassy polaroids

Here's some pics from the polaroid back on the hassy, a few things of note - Polaroids don't like rain and it's really really annoying when you load the film up the wrong way round!
