Working with elph on BBC graphics

At the moment im working on a massive project for the BBC, Elph (check his website here http://akaelph.com/ ) is producing amazing graphics and im animating them. It is a full 6 part tv series and we have over 10 min of motion graphics to create and its some pretty crazy cool stuff!

But whilst we render I take photos and here's some of the pics.

The video was shot by myself and here is the vimeo version of the video.The video was shot on my 7d at 50fps and then using twixtor was slowed down.

Just trying to work out some speckles and depth for a project im working on and here is a very quick test.

Im playing with some after effects stuff at the moment and here is a test for rain! This was done using particular and lens blur.

test with toonit

Last week i did some filming on the 7d for an advertising agency down south and the footage i had i thought i would play with after the job was finished. Ive got a great plugin for after effects called toonit and i thought i would have a play with it and this is what i came up with:




Im animating a music video for justice through music at the moment and it is going to look similar to this. The idea is to get it to look a bit like Mosh by eminem and scanner darkly.

Which should be fun.
