So long 2015!

Ok so back in April I got very excited and said I was going to post loads this year and well...
I didn't :-( now as a sort of explanation its been a very busy year even by my standards, i've traveled across the world this year - Norway, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Singapore, Australia, Aruba, Bon Aire, Curacao, Antigua, Barbados, USA, Netherlands and France!

I've shot over 50 video productions and done over 20 stills shoots. MBP have delivered over 150 video assets and I have delivered over 10,000 still images!

I have traveled over 15,000 miles in the UK and we have created work for 15 new clients.

And i've become a dad!

I also wanted to say thank you to everyone that has made this possible over 2015 - the clients (your all amazing please keep working with us!) the crew you guys have really pulled a shift for us this year! The models who have all been incredible, hair, makeup, stylists, drivers, chefs, bookers, cleaners, writers, lawyers, accountants, advisers and of course the MBP family :-) Hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Year and i promise I will do more proper posts in 2016!

Ok soooooo.... I might have been neglecting this blog a little... ok quite alot! Now im going to use this blog as a technical geek out site from now on so ill be covering:

So first things first!
We have just bought some new kit:
Canon 7dmk2
2 x Sony min xdcams
sony FS7
and a whole heap of cables, computers and other gizmos for multicam stuff

and a DJI phantom 2 with gopro hero 3+ and lots of other fun attachements.
No over the next few weeks/ months/ years ill post details and information about the kit. It will be mainly my usability tests - real world stuff, not stats, analysis graphics or stuff like that as other people do that much better than I ever will, this is mainly - what is it like to use in the real world type tests.

Firstly I want to say thanks to everyone who has emailed or commented on my blog you guys are great for reading it!!!

We have been crazy busy at MBP and I havent had a moment to update everything but for now I thought I would post a few pics :-) we have been doing alot of work offshore with different companies and we just finished a large project with Vroon offshore. Here is a promotional film (very short version of all the stuff we did!) :

Technically it was a really interesting shoot - we had very little space to maneuver and so we decided to shoot on DSLR's plus the dust and spray proof bodies came in useful! We also got several go pro hero 4s to mount in interesting locations to offer unique views of the rescue and recovery work we were doing. Any questions let me know and if you have any ships/ helicopters or private jets - in exotic places that need filming let me know :-)
